My YouTube Channel Becoming a DXing Channel

DTV Tropo 2014 videoWith the end of my student loan payments rapidly approaching, I went out last November and bought my first new desktop computer in eleven years, and also added new video editing software: Sony Movie Studio. This was a turning point for my YouTube channel, which until this year was mostly my old work from school and a book trailer for Caffeine . First my old TV DX clips were taken from their DVDs and posted for all to see, then came a wave of brand-new 720p bandscan videos covering AM, FM, and TV. July's cruise to Alaska gave me the opportunity to post locals and DX from there. And now I've posted my first DX video featuring digital TV stations.

A lifetime road geek, I'm finally preparing for something called a "gas budget," and I'm taking my gear on the road with me. You see where this is going...

Alaska MW video24 videos planned over the next 12 months:

The only non-DX related video on the drawing board is a time-lapse tour of interstate 75, which I doubt I can do with my regular camera and need to wait until construction is over to shoot anyway.

I think my channel is hitting its stride. I'm always looking for unique things to do with this website, and the YouTube channel with it. There isn't much bandscanning on YouTube, especially if you're looking for nicely-produced scans with graphics, and if the recent uptick in subscribers is any indication there are certainly DXers out there hungry for them. I aim to please. :D
