At Last, My Second NovelPOSTED JUN 6, 2022

After a full decade of work (including the lengthy interruptions) my second novel is complete. This Falling Eden isn't getting published yet, but it now reads like a complete book. Having split the Rough Draft into a trilogy, I completed the first book of it just a few months before my 40th birthday... and weeks before the 10th anniversary of me starting it!

The Second Draft is now available for test readers on Critique Circle, under the novel's old working title, "The Day The Rain Came Back". CC is a great site where authors critique each others' work. I really need feedback from (a) total strangers who are (b) regular sci-fi readers. They are the target audience after all.

Signing up for Critique Circle is free. My author page is https://www.critiquecircle.com/u/Egrabow and a new chapter is posted every few weeks. (I'd post one each week, but the site charges a big premium for that... and earning credits takes time.)

There won't be any other work on the book until late summer. I'm going over my publishing options and deciding whether to get started on the Official First Draft of Eden's second novel, This Falling Sea.

The fun is hardly over. ;)
