One Quarter Century Down, Some Number To Go POSTED JAN 1, 2026
EGrabow.com turns 25 years old today. Strange to think about that frantic night of New Years' 2001 being 25 years ago, but it's great to look back and see how far this website has grown since then. I've updated the History Pages and included a section on my future plans. Being in the middle of writing my second novel (yes, still) any huge plans are a long way off but, Lord willing, the future is a spacious place.

2026 Upgrades POSTED APR 2, 2026
Work is happening on egrabow.com at the moment. I've upgraded the PHP that most of these pages run on, spending a few hours testing and playing whack-a-mole with the errors that were springing up on my circa-2015 code. This was done in preparation for more changes this week. Though you shouldn't see any error messages right now, there are a couple of newly-broken things I need to fix when I have the time. After twenty-five years on OLM, the hosting service I used to founded this website in 2001, egrabow.com has moved on to a new host. You shouldn't notice any difference beside faster preformance and fewer hiccups with "https" connections. There's nothing like a security certificate expiring, over and over again, and seeing every browser in the world start flashing DANGER DANGER THIS SITE IS DANGEROUS when the connection is fine but one date in one field is no longer current.
