For the 20th anniversary of egrabow.com, I've reprised my old circa-2004 "Video Stuff" series! In episode 8 I show off my new mobile DXing setup, to kickoff the 2021 tropo season here in Florida. After 12 years as "egrabow440", I've changed my YouTube channel name to "Florida TV DX". The channel was originally pretty unfocused, an extension of this website where I hosted my video projects from school, Caffeine's book trailer, and other miscellaneous items. With a TV DXing hobby to fuel new content, though, it was only a matter of time before the non-DXing material got crowded out. The new name reflects what the channel has become and what videos my subscribers tend...

Let's Buy A Condo! (Again) POSTED NOV 14, 2021
While I'm enjoying life in Orlando, one of the setbacks of moving was letting go of my condo two years ago. I didn't want to rent it out - I'm not the landlord type - and staying there would've meant a three hour commute. I like driving, but no one likes driving that much. Besides, shopping for a new condo gives me the opportunity to apply lessons learned the first time around , like the need to avoid flood insurance mandates. I've re-entered the market this month and, oof, it's even worse ...
